“Our customers don’t need to spend time finding and scheduling a contracted hauler to make the delivery," said Jon Close, vice president of sales and marketing, in a release. "They can rely on our dedicated carrier to provide convenient, safe and efficient transport of our customers’ materials. Using experienced drivers, we also ensure material is loaded properly to protect against damage.”

Linetec offers several managed trucking options, including partial loads that help manage freight costs by effectively sharing a truck with other customers in the delivery area. Its over-the-road tractors also are optimized for efficiency, as each is outfitted with an auxiliary power unit to reduce unnecessary fuel consumption by more than 85 percent while resting and to prevent pollution discharge, according to the release. Further supporting its customers and their environmental initiatives, Linetec minimizes packaging waste by offering the option of a re-usable container system to protect the shipments year-after-year.
