MGS Distributing Opens 110,000-Square-Foot Facility in Iowa

MGS Distributing, a national supplier of glass, metal and sealant products, opened a 110,000-square-foot fabrication facility in Des Moines, Iowa, and hosted a grand opening open house April 25-26 to celebrate. The open house featured a tour of the facility, product representatives, demonstrations and training. The new facility serves as the company's main hub for production and distribution. MGS Distributing's facility is equipped with a glass tempering furnace, CNC automated cutting line, automated insulated glass line, automated retrieval and storage system, waterjet cutter, laminating line, and complete metal and spandrel fabrication equipment, according to a company press release.

MGS Distributing also has fabrication plants in Omaha, Neb., and Kansas City, Mo.
