Mood upbeat at Mid-Atlantic Glass Expo

When the glass industry comes to Greenbelt, Md., in mid-April every year for the Glass Expo, the consensus is, "it's always a great show!" This year was no different for the April 17 regional trade show hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Glass Association, a strong chapter organization of the National Glass Association. This year's event attracted more than 75 suppliers from across the country and 857attendees. Exhibitors and buyers alike reported a stable and growing glass and metal construction market, in spite of the federal government furloughs that have been reported to hit the region harder than most areas.
