Xiamen Calls for Curtain Wall Safety Checks and Restrictions

The Construction and Administration Bureau of Xiamen, China, plans to introduce new rules to standardize and restrict the use of glass curtain walls in new buildings, according to a report from Xiamen News. The bureau also will requirebuilders and property owners to conduct safety checks and repairs on curtain-wall projects located within the city limits that are more than 10 years old.
