GGI launches new website

Officials from GGI announced Jan. 21 the launch of the company’s newly developed website, www.generalglass.com. The site is designed to target and engage architects, designers, glazing contractors and industry professionals with a focus on rich graphics, interactive multimedia and storytelling that shows GGI’s scope of work and broad spectrum of products, according to a company release. New features include a decorative glass simulator, which visually shows different types of glass products in various applications and a virtual tour of GGI’s facility. The site is compatible with PCs, Macs, iPhones, iPads and Android devices.“We wanted to create a site that not only visually tells our story, but also empowers architects and other industry professionals with resources that will help them be more efficient, effective and creative,” said Stephen Balik, GGI principal, Business Development, in the release. “Our new site provides a wealth of information and tools for those involved with the evaluation and selection of high-performance glass and glazing systems, ensuring they find products that best complement their projects.”On the new site, design professionals can find information on the company's AIA continuing education programs, recent projects, product data, upcoming events and a complete visual library of GGI’s entire portfolio of glass products, according to the release.
