SAGE Saint-Gobain announces new European management structure

Following its acquisition by Saint-Gobain, SAGE announced a new management structure for Europe, in which the companywill rely on new teams of architectural and glass representatives to launch SageGlass solutions and assist customers across Europe.

SAGE Saint-Gobain Europe regroups senior managers from Saint-Gobain to form a dedicated organization of electrochromic glazing specialists,according to aJan. 11 company release.

The specification team is headed up by Kirk Ratzel, director of marketing and sales, who has more than 30 years of experience in specialty glass market development. His team of specialists each have at least 10 years of experience in the coated glass market, according to the release. The team consists of: Alain Garnier, handling Central and Eastern Europe, whose past experiences include the market development of photovoltaic solutions for buildings; Jean-Jacques Sanson, handling France, who previously provided glass expertise for major curtain-wall contracts; and Jeff Upton, handling the United Kingdom and Ireland, who is a former senior fa?ade engineer for major fa?ade projects.

The architectural solutions team is headed by Alexandre Richard, a former project manager for major dynamic glazing projects within Saint-Gobain. His team is composed of Julien Orillard, who has six years of market development and field experience with electrochromic dynamic glazing. Working alongside Orillard are qualified engineers like Annabelle Andreau Wiedermaier, who participated in the development of dynamic glass solutions for Saint-Gobain, and Jean-Sébastien Chargé, who as project manager and qualified electrical engineer provides his technical knowledge in major photovoltaic installations, according to the release.
