View issues response to SAGE patent suit

Officials from dynamic glass manufacturer View Inc. denied allegations of patent infringement from SAGE Electrochromics, according to a Dec. 21 company release. SAGE filed a patent infringement lawsuit in U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, against View, according to a same-day SAGE release.

"View does not believe it has infringed any valid claim of any patent and therefore has no liability to Sage," View officials said in its release. "View Dynamic Glass is manufactured using proprietary technology and processes, creating a unique product that is being well received by customers. While defending itself vigorously, View will continue to focus on serving its customers and growing the business for this exciting technology."
