The 2nd China Shengfang Metal Furniture Fair achieved great success

The 2nd China Shengfang Metal Furniture Fair was successfully held in Shengfang International Furniture Center (SFIFC) from September 16-18. The fair was hosted in an area of 210,000 sq. m. and 29 exhibition halls. 1,076 exhibitors attended the fair, increasing by 5.18%, and displayed 9 categories and more than 5,000 new products involving metal glass furniture, wood furniture, panel furniture, soft furniture, office furniture, school furniture, outdoor furniture, home decoration and furniture fittings. The fair attracted 416 foreign purchasers, 5,972 Chinese agents and dealers, and about 130,000 visitors in the scene, respectively up 9.19%, 36.50% and 8.33%. Besides, 137 million yuan of deals and were made 316 million yuan of orders were placed in the three-day fair, respectively rising 251.28% and 102.56%.

During the fair, a lot of activities, such as the forum on risk aversion for China furniture market and market trend of China metal furniture under subprime mortgage crisis, training on furniture design, new product presentation of Shengpai, Xingda, Bada and other famous brands, the award ceremony of the 2nd China Metal Furniture Design Competition.

With the flourishing industry of metal glass furniture in Bazhou, some related industries including ferrous metal smelting and rolling, glass and plastic processing have grown up and formed a close industry cluster. So far, there are over 1,300 Shengfang metal glass enterprises with an annual output of 45 million sets of furniture, and some products are exported to more than 30 countries and regions. The metal glass furniture industry has been very important for the sound and fast development of Bazhou economy.
