Guardian announces Bill Widmann as vice president of sales and marketing for North America

Guardian Industries announced Bill Widmann as vice president of sales and marketing for its North America Flat Glass operations. Widmann oversees Guardian’s team of sales and marketing professionals for its North American products and services, including its commercial SunGuard, residential ClimaGuard and Guardian InGlass product lines. He is responsible for creating a strategy that will engage customers and expand Guardian’s leadership throughout North America, according to an August 28 company release.

Before joining Guardian, Widmann was vice president of sales for Rehrig Pacific, an international plastic packaging manufacturer.

Widmann reports to Mark Lacasse, group vice president, North American Flat Glass. Lacasse oversees all aspects of flat glass operations in North America, which includes the company’s seven float glass plants and four fabrication facilities, as well as marketing, sales, financial, business development and services. Lacasse was vice president of Guardian's Latin American operations before taking on North American operations in the summer of 2011.
