Pythagoras Solar names Scott Hoover director of sales, North America

Pythagoras Solarofficialsannounced the appointment of Scott Hoover as director of sales, North America. Hoover will be responsible for further growing the company's sales pipeline and the market expansion of its solar windows, according to an Aug. 15 release.

"I am thrilled to join the Pythagoras Solar team and be a part of bringing their game-changing products to scale in the market and making net zero buildings a reality," Hoover said, in the release.

Hoover is a 24 -year veteran of the commercial glass and window industry. Prior to joining Pythagoras Solar, he led sales and marketing efforts for Pilkington/NSG and AGC. Most recently, he was involved with new green-building companies in various executive, consulting and advisory board capacities.
