Announcing the close of the comment period for Phase II of its windows volume purchase program, the Department of Energy is finalizing plans to move forward and open up participation to more manufacturers and suppliers of R-5 products. Final specifications and a request for proposals will available on or around January 21 at DOE's Web site for the program, according to a Jan. 11 Window & Door report.
