Prima Electro and YASKAWA Europe sign strategic partnership for CNC market

Prima Electro S.p.A. and YASKAWA Europe GmbHsigned a strategic partnership for the CNC market under which Prima Electro will implement Yaskawa's SIGMA-5 SD drives and motors in its new OSAI OPENcontrol CNC family of products. Under the agreement, Yaskawa drives and motors are now part of the new OPENcontrol product line, whose modularity and scalability allow customers to select hardware and software components according to their specific application needs.

Prima Electro supplies CNC controls to machinery manufacturers that include Bottero/Bimatech, CMS/Brembana, and Denver, according to a release.
