CBO Glasshas requested that a lawsuit filed by theInternational Painters and Allied Trades Industry Pension Fund be dismissed in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. The suit was filed March 30 and claims the contract glazier "failed to pay amounts due under the Labor Contracts, Trust Agreements and Plan from May 2011 to February 2012 in at least the sum of $472,813.83."
In court documents filed May 29, CBO Glass officials deny the allegations and "respectfully request that the court dismiss the complaint with prejudice and grant such other and further relief as is appropriate and just."
CBO Glass is also involved in alawsuit filed by trustees of the Iron Workers Local Union No. 5 and Iron Workers Employers Association, along with representatives of Local Union No. 5 of the International Association of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Iron Workers.
