NGA names Jaime Barnhart manager of promotions, Industry Events

Officials of the National Glass Associationannounced Jaime Barnhart has been named manager of promotions, Industry Events, responsible for the overall promotion of GlassBuild America: The Glass, Window & Door Expo. Barnhart is a certified meeting planner and former director of conferences for the American Moving & Storage Association. She replaces Mary Purvis,who left NGA and GlassBuild America after eight years to spend more time with her family.

“While it is tough to lose Mary, we are truly delighted to add someone of Jaime’s talent and experience to our already strong group," said Denise Sheehan, NGA vice president of Industry Events,in a release. "We are expecting a great show, and Jaime’s addition will only make it that much better for our attendees and exhibitors.”

“I am very excited to join everyone here and be a part of a show with so much history," Barnhart said. "GlassBuild America is the premier show for the glass, window and door industry, and it’s just a thrill to be involved with it.”
