Diamon-Fusion International, Inc.announced the completion of a coating and glass restoration project for Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, Calif. The project consisted of applying DFI's Diamon-Fusion coating to more than 15,000 square feet of glass at various sections of the newly constructed Kravis Center, designed by architect Rafael Vi?oly -Menendez.

The most famous section of the project includes "the cube" or "living room" all-glass structure, situated in the courtyard area. It is the only structure of its kind built in Seismic Zone IV, according to an April 24 DFI release. Through DFI's patented nano-coating process, the treatment to the glass facade created a water-repellent effect for ease of cleaning and protection against scratches, abrasion, and environmental elements, subsequently reducing the overall costs of maintenance to the building, Diamon-Fusion officials said, in the release.
