ICD announces promotions and new hires

Officials from ICD High Performance Coatings made several personnel announcements. Abram Scurlock has been promoted to applications specialist within ICD's Technical Service department. Scurlock has worked for ICD for ten years, starting in production and progressing through the company as a chemist. In his new position, he will work to bridge the company's coatings with various application methods and substrates. Previously, he served ICD as R&D manager.

James Butler was hired as ICD's new plant manager. Butler has served the glass industry for more than eleven years, with a strong focus on managing teams. Prior to the glass industry, he served in the United States Marine Corps for six years, earning the rank of Captain.

Nrupen Patel was promoted to R&D manager, his first management position at the company. Patel has been with ICD for two years, starting as a formulating chemist. He holds two masters degrees.

Jeff Nicholson was promoted to product commercialization liaison, where he will be responsible for coordinating R&D and production, placing new products into production, and ensuring customer satisfaction with fewer problematic problem launches. Nicholson brings experience from the steel industry, where he worked as a production lead.

Duane Jennrich was hired as a technical service technician. Jennrich offers past experience from various subcontracting disciplines.
