Solar Innovations partners with Soladigm to provide glazing systems with dynamic glass

Solar Innovations, Inc., a custom manufacturer of commercial and residential folding, stacking, and sliding glass doors and windows, glazed structures, and skylights, announced, Jan. 16, that it will begin offering glazing systems with dynamic glass from Soladigm. The new product offering, expected to be available Spring 2012, will integrate Soladigm dynamic glass to allow building occupants to control the tint of the window on demand, according to a Solar Innovations release.

“Soladigm’s dynamic glass is an ideal complement to our custom window and door solutions,” said Greg Header, president of Solar Innovations, in the release.

Soladigm’s energy-efficient dynamic glass electronically switches from clear to tinted on demand, and enables control of heat and glare in buildings while providing greater comfort, uninterrupted views, and natural daylight, according to the release.

“We are excited to partner with Solar Innovations and integrate our dynamic glass to create innovative, sustainable glazing solutions,” said Jim Pape, chief commercial officer, Soladigm, in the release.
