Despite this week's positive news about the rise in construction spending in November, the construction industry will continue to face challenges and uncertainty in 2012, according to a Jan. 4 article in Forbes. While spending in single- and multi family-housing increased in November, spending continued to fall for private construction on commercial projects and spending on manufacturing construction, according to the article.
