HNG Float Glass Ltd. is investing in a new furnace with a daily capacity of 1,000 tons per day at its Halol facility, in Gujarat, India, this month. The company expects to secure financing for the expansion project by March 2012, according to a Dec. 12 report from The Hindu Business Line.
Incorporated in 2006, HNG Float currently operates a 600-ton-per-day furnace at Halol and controls 20 percent of the expanding float glass market in the country, according to the article.
