Gamma U.S.A. Inc. is scheduled to open five North American offices by year-end 2012 in Chicago, Boston, Washington, D.C., Texas and Toronto, according to a release. The company currently employes 200 people in operations located in New York City, Miami, Quebec City and Montreal.
In related news, James Mitchell has been appointed president of Gamma’s Canadian operations, succeeding Louis Fortin, who will now lead engineering and production for Gamma in Canada. Mitchell has more than 30 years leadership experience in the specialty construction, curtain wall, window wall and recladding industries. Previously, he was executive vice president of Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope, executive vice president/owner of Anatamex International, and director of sales and marketing, Canada, for the Kawneer Aluminum Building Products Division of Alcoa.
Gamma also announced the appointment of Mark Ospala as director of operations, headquartered in Gamma’s office in New York City. He has more than 33 years of U.S. and international construction and program/project management experience, having managed the lifecycle of projects from the conceptual stage, design management, construction and closeout, according to the release.
