Glass goes up at Missoula airport

Installation of new glass lites for the Missoula International Airport air traffic control tower in Montana is nearing completion. The crew from Big Mountain Glass & Windowsis lifting each of the 16lites with a crane, attaching it inside and out. Each piece of the custom-made glass weighs 550 pounds, measures approximately 9 feet by 6 feet, and costs $3,500 to manufacture, according to an Oct. 13 article from the Missoulian.
