Tem-Pace officials recently announced that all of the Tem-Pace, Inc. assetshave beensold to an affiliate of The Cypress Co., Inc. Under new ownership, Tem-Pace, LLC, will continue to manufacture all of the same tempered glass products that it presently supplies, according to a company release.
The future benefits that Cypress will bring to customers include the potential for additional glass processing capabilities through enhanced capital expenditures, as well as the retention of current employees and Tem-Pace's current location in Niles, Mich., officials said.
In cementing the relationship of the companies, Cypress has retained and promoted Bart Bennett to the position of president, according to the release.Bennett, former partner and long-time general manager, has been with Tem-Pace since its inception and has been competently managing the daily operations for years, officials said.
