Police blocked Bay Street in both directions from Grenville Street to Grosvenor Street at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6,after another pane of balcony glass fell off a new condo tower, more than 40 stories high, that rises right across from Toronto Police headquarters, according to a same-day National Post report.
Abalcony on the north side of the tower, more than 30 stories in the air, showed a gap where a pane of glass had apparently fallen. Just above that spot was visible the platform on which workers are toiling, removing the glass from the balconies.
