U.S. Aluminum, now a division of C.R. Laurence Co., is up and running with 11 service center and manufacturing locations across the United States and Canada, according to an Aug. 19 company release. C.R. Laurence acquired U.S. Aluminum in July.
"We acquired [U.S. Aluminum] with the intention of re-establishing them as the industry leader, providing resources that enhance USAL's ability to manufacturer, service, and deliver quality products on time," Lloyd Talbert, president of CRL, said in the release. "For our storefront materials business, available through our network of service centers, we have increased stock levels and are strategically reviewing adding locations to better service the North American market. In addition, CRL is working to improve USAL's service and support capabilities for quoting specified projects, actively ramping up the crew of estimators and technical personnel."
George Heflin, vice president of sales at U.S. Aluminum, added in the release, "USAL's product range was designed with both glass contractors and architects in mind. Service begins at the point of initial customer contact, and we have trained our personnel listen carefully and fully address each customer's needs," he said. "This is an installer-friendly product line designed for real-world performance which appeals to architects. For example, our window sill flashing is known as the easiest to work with, plus with its unique pre-punched weep slots, water flows to the outside as it's designed. We offer a well-designed and competitive product range of entrance systems, storefront systems, window wall systems, curtain wall systems, operable windows, blast mitigation systems, hurricane impact systems, and sunshades."
Technical and fabrication specialists are on call to answer questions about any of their systems, and can be reached through a national toll free phone number, 800/262-5151, according to the release
