BC Industries awarded glazing contract for Progression Place in Washington DC

BC Industries was recently awarded the glazing package contract for the Offices at Progression Place, located at 7thand S Street, NW, in Washington’s historic Shaw neighborhood, according to an Aug. 9 company release.

BCI will fabricate and install all of the exterior glazing, which includes its unitized and pre-glazed 700 Series curtain wall system.

The Offices at Progression Place is slated to become the new national headquarters of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF).This state-of-art building will showcase a dramatic architectural design of glass curtain wall.

Davis Construction is the general contractor and Eric Colbert & Associates is the architect of record.Construction is schedule to begin in thefourthquarter of 2011, with glazing installation to begin in thefirstquarter of 2012.
