KL megla acquires CHMI assets

KL megla officials announced the company has purchased the assets of Custom Hardware Manufacturing Inc., which closed in late 2009 due to financial problems. KL megla, the German multinational hardware manufacturer with U.S. headquarters in Oxnard, Calif., will continue to manufacture and distribute much of the CHMI hardware line of products, according to a release.

In addition, the company is expanding its stateside operation by adding a Midwest regional distribution and custom fabrication facility.
