Analysts and delegates attendingHarbor Intelligence's Annual Aluminum Outlook Conference in Chicago this weekexpect"stable to higher" aluminumprices and premiums in 2012, according to a June 21 Kitco News report.
Some 210 registered delegates attended teh conference. Late Tuesday [June 21] morning, a survey of participants showed that 75 percentexpect relatively stable London Metal Exchange prices averaging $2,400 to $2,600 a metric ton in 2012. Fifty-eight percent anticipated the regional premium they pay will increase next year, according to the report.
