Construction of the new dynamic glass manufacturing plant for Sage Electrochromics, Faribault, Minn., took a leap forward as the company announced contracts with several equipment vendors to provide the key technologies that will drive the plant's high-tech manufacturing processes, according to a May 13 Sage release.
When complete, the facility will be able to produce dynamic glass in high volumes and in large commercial architectural sizes at an affordable cost. The facility is being constructed in Faribault and is expected to begin operations in 2012.
