Dorma Architectural Hardware names new president

DormaArchitectural Hardware, Reamstown, Pa., has named Wil VandeWiel as president, according to an April 25 release.VandeWiel brings broad and deep domestic and international experience, most recently in the high security industry. He recently was managing director for Bosch Security Systems, Lancaster, Pa. He also hasheld numerous senior-level positions in business development, sales and marketing, quality and operations. A native of the Netherlands, VandeWiel received his mechanical engineering degree at Eindhoven Technical University in his homeland, and his MBA at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Mass. He holds a Master Black Belt in the application of Lean Enterprise techniques. VandeWiel succeeds Scott Duncan, who retired recently after six years as president of Dorma Architectural Hardware.
