Officials are investigating why a windowpane fell from a federally owned high-rise building in the Loop [Chicago] this morning [April 11].
The 6-story-building located on the corner of South State Street and Jackson Boulevard is owned by the federal government's General Services Administration, said Neil Omansky, a GSA spokesman, according to an April 11 Chicago Tribune report.
