The building envelope engineering and consulting firm of Wheaton Sprague Inc., Stow, Ohio,hired Chris Herchek as project manager for its Stow office, according to an April 5 release.
As project manager, Herchek will provide client management and technical direction for work products on monumental curtain-wall projects. He will be responsible for managing the interface between client and team, and providing project oversight.
Herchek has 26 years experience in thebuilding envelope industry, and has workedas project manager at notable companies such as MK Architectural of Ohio, Harmon Inc. of Minnesota, Architectural Wall Systems of Texas, and PPG of Pittsburgh. He comes to Wheaton Sprague as a process-oriented, analytical, conceptual, and innovative professional with proven organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
"I have known Chris since our days together at PPG and MK Architectural Metal, and have followed the many successes of his career," said John L. Wheaton, president, Wheaton Sprague, in the release. "He will be a great addition to our team, providing skills and experience that will allow our leadership to further the vision and direct the company as we grow.
