Glasweld adds Australian distributor

GlasWeld, Bend, Ore., appointed GlasWeld Australia Pty. Ltd. as its exclusive distributor for all GlasWeld products in Australia, according to an April 4 release.

GlasWeld Australia Pty. Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cleveland Tungsten (Aust) Pty. Ltd. and is located in Revesby, Australia.Garry Sylvester, a veteran of the glass industry, will manage sales and marketing for the distributorship. He previously managed a national call center sales force for Belron and worked for NGS Glass as a national accounts representative.

Sylvester recently spent a week at GlasWeld’s corporate headquarters in Bend, training on products, sales and marketing.“I am so impressed with the caliber of the team at GlasWeld. GlasWeld Australia Pty. Ltd. will offer GlasWeld’s signature ecoVac and G3fusionbrand windshield repair systems, Gforce glass scratch removal systems, and Gclear headlight restoration products to the Australian market.

With the launch of GlasWeld Australia and the introduction of its innovative windscreen chip repair products, Cleveland Tungsten will be expanding its ability to provide quality products servicing the automotive market.As a provider of complete solutions to the entire glass repair industry, the company also plans to enter and service the flat glass industry sector by offering GlasWeld’s full line of scratch repair products.
