Xiehua Glass Co., Shanghai, China, installed Bystronic's compact’line, in summer 2010, according to a March 21 release. In addition to the low capital costs, features of the line include the compact plant layout, diverse expansion possibilities, as well as a smooth material flow that ensures optimal results. WuJi Wang, production planner at Xiehua Glass, is particularly impressed by the press used for the assembly of the insulating glass units.
On average, the company now produces 1200 square metres of insulating glass per day on the compact’line. Previously, the 20,000-square-meter facilitywouldprimarilyuse manual production supported by simple machine technology. The company supplies units in rectangular formats to Chinese facade constructors and to customers in Dubai, Russia and South Africa.
