Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Azon's newWeb siteoffers expanded resources to construction professionals interested in learning more about energy efficient thermal barrier technology for aluminum framing and insulating glass, according to a March 16 release.
The company's mission is “Azon saves energy.” The new Web content provides case studies and real-world applications that positively highlight the performance of fenestration systems in architectural applications. Intelligent technologies are vital to achieve sustainable, energy-efficient buildings. Azon technologies reduce the overall U-factor and offer a higher CRF (Condensation Resistance Factor) to ensure comfortable, healthy surroundings for building inhabitants.
The two technologies by Azon that optimize energy efficiency and the condensation resistance of aluminum windows are: Structural polyurethane pour and debridge-type thermal barriers in the framing; and Azon Warm-Light spacer in the insulating glass air space to boost improvements in the glazing.
Azon partners with a growing number of aluminum extruders and window manufacturers worldwide.
