In 2011, the outlook for commercial construction looks decidedly better than it did during the early days of 2010, according to a March 8 release from Kawneer, Norcross, Ga. Manufacturing activity, consumer spending and corporate profits have experienced some growth. And despite the lingering effect of the sovereign debt crises in Europe, the high unemployment rate and an uncertain housing market, the nonresidential construction market is expected to grow towards the end of 2011.
