Effective Feb. 25, Greg Silvestri, president, Viracon, Owatonna, Minn.,and executive vice president, Apogee Enterprises, Minneapolis, has left the organization, according to a March 1 Viracon statement. In the interim, Apogee CEO Russ Huffer will lead Viracon.
"I would like to thankGreg for his dedicated service to Viracon and Apogee over the past three and a half years, and wish him well in his future endeavors," Huffer said in the statement. "I am pleased to work with the Viracon leadership team until my successor as Apogee CEO is named, and can select thenext Viracon president.Viracon has the products and services demanded by commercial construction markets for the finest value-addedbuildings in the United States and internationally.I look forward to your support, and will be spending much of my time with Viracon to ensure a smooth transition."
