Rod Hershberger, chairman, American Architectural Manufacturers Association, Schaumburg, Ill.,chose Edgetech I.G., Cambridge, Ohio,forthe prestigious ‘Chairman’s Award,’ according to a Feb. 24 release.Mike Hovan, president of Edgetech, accepted the award on behalf of the company at the 74th Annual Conference Awards Banquet on Feb. 22 in San Diego.
Edgetech has “… revolutionized the industry and helped make it possible to meet today’s most advanced energy-efficiency and condensation resistance mandates,” Hershberger said in a press release issued by AAMA.
Edgetech I.G. has been a member of AAMA since 1997, actively participating in meetings and events aimed at boosting the organization’s energy-efficiency efforts.
“It was a great honor to accept this award on behalf of all of Edgetech,” Hovan said in the release. “Many of our employees are actively involved with AAMA and this is really a testament to their dedication to furthering the industry. I’d like to thank Chairman Hershberger for this recognition.”
