Officials at Dorma Canadanamed Dan Neilson to the newly created post of director – business development, according to a Feb. 1 release. He brings experience and technical knowledge to customers served by Dorma Canada’s architectural, glass and automatic door system lines.Neilson previously worked in the commercial flooring industry, as eastern regional director of sales, regional vice president for western Canada, and national commercial sales manager for a variety of leading companies. Born, raised, and educated in Montreal, he moved to Toronto after graduating from Concordia University where he earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree.Drawing on expertise within the commercial interiors marketplace, Neilson will oversee business development for all products offered by Dorma Canada. He is based at the company’s Mississauga, ON, headquarters.
