DuPont expands DigiGlass license

DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions has expanded a license to DigiGlass Pty, Ltd.in Melbourne, Australia, allowing DigiGlass to use DuPont SentryGlas Expressions digital interlayer technologyworldwide in structural and architectural laminated glass products, according to a Jan. 28 release.

The new license extends and expands on an earlier DuPont Alliance Agreement with DigiGlass giving them exclusive rights to make and sell printed polyvinyl butyral interlayer products using SentryGlas Expressions technology in the Australia/New Zealand market, as well as parts of Southeast Asia.DigiGlass started commercial production using DuPont SentryGlas Expressions in 2003.The expanded agreement allows DigiGlass to continue to make their product in Australia and now, to sell their products globally.“DuPont SentryGlas Expressions technology meets a continuing global demand for high-quality imagery and design textures in architectural safety glass," said Valerie A.
