Hindustan National Glass to set up unit in Gujarat

Hindustan National Float Glass, India,signed a memorandum of understandingwith the Gujarat government to set up a float glass unit in Halol, Gujarat, according to a Jan. 12 One India News report. The company will set up a unit with a 1,000-ton-per-day capacity in Halol, where it already has a unit with 600-ton-per-day capacity. The plant will be commissioned by September 2013, and is expected to help generate another 1,000 jobs directly or indirectly in the area.
