Former Ford glass plant in Nashville sold again

The former Ford Motor Co. glass plant in Nashville that was sold to a company owned by a Tulsa, Okla., investor less than three years ago might be changing hands again, the company announced Thursday [Jan. 6].

Zeledyne LLC said it has signed "definitive agreements" with Central Glass Co. Ltd.to sell the Nashville Glass Plant and the company's Carlite warehouse operation in Lebanon. Central Glass, based in Yamaguchi, Japan, also operates a plant in Vonore, Tenn., according to a jan. 7 Tennessean.com report.
