Marshall may seek 'clawback' from AGC Flat Glass

Representatives of a former Marshall business got a chilly reception Monday [Dec. 6]night as they asked the Marshall City Council not to make them pay taxes for the time they were here.

Chris Correnti, vice president, general counsel and secretary for AGC [Flat] Glass North America, appeared before the council to ask it to reconsider a March decision to "claw back," or charge the company for, more than $300,000 in taxes the company hadn't paid in the past because of a tax break, according to a Dec. 7 BattleCreekEnquirer.com report.
