Cebrace announced today [Nov. 29]plans to build a new float glass plant in Bahia State, in northeastern Brazil.
The new facility will be the sixth float line owned by Cebrace Cristal Plano Ltda, a joint venture between Saint-Gobain Glass and NSG Groupin Brazil. The project will enable Cebrace to serve its customers more effectively in this fast-growing region, according to a Nov. 29 Azo materials report.
