Doralco Architectural Metals announces new president

Matthew JaBaay became the new president of Doralco Architectural Metals, Alsip, Ill.,according to a Nov. 18 release.He will lead Doralco’s efforts to gain market share through the innovative development of target markets and competitive pricing structures.

JaBaay, with more than 13 years of experience in the company, will now be responsible for operations and sales for all of Doralco Architectural Metals’ Brands: Intertec, Compositecore, Entrance Metal, and Machine Works.

“Matthew did a fantastic job as a vice president and I expect he’ll do even better as president,” said Tom O’Malley, vice president, Doralco, in the release.“Matthew is a proven winner; his diverse technological background, coupled with his deep manufacturing understanding is an invaluable asset.”

“There are tremendous opportunities ahead for Doralco Architectural Metals to help architects and contractors bring their buildings to life,” JaBaay said in the release. “This is an exciting time with our strong lineup of architectural metals products and new releases this upcoming year.” Defining the time frame, target markets and specifics for the company’s direction will be JaBaay’s first order of business.
