[The Trinidad and Tobago] government is exploring the possibility of establishing a facility to produce glass and photovoltaic or solar cells, used to convert sunlight energy into electricity.
Energy Minister Carolyn Seepersad-Bachan said yesterday [Sept. 27] the People's Partnership Government was looking at importing silica from Guyana to provide raw material for the glass and PV cell plant.
