JEB names DuPont Supplier of the Year

Officials at JE Berkowitz LP, Pedricktown, N.J.,named DuPont, Wilmington, Del.,the company's 2009 Supplier of the Year, according to a Sept. 13 release.Roger L. Thomas, materials manager for JEB, and Arthur Berkowitz, president, recently presented the award to Beth M. Gabsewics, sales representative for DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions, at JEB’s manufacturing facilities.

Every supplier is evaluated on a quarterly and annual basis.Some of the criteria used are product quality, on-time delivery, packaging quality, service, marketing support, and responsiveness to quality and service problems.“DuPont provides excellent service and quality products across the board,” Berkowitz said in the release.

DuPont supplies laminated glass interlayer products to JEB including Butacite, SentryGlas, and SentryGlas Expressions. “We have become partners with DuPont. They offer technological breakthroughs in laminating, which allows us to maintain the leading edge in the marketplace,” Berkowitz said in the release.

“DuPont has consistently produced a great, quality product on time and without any deviations,” Thomas said in the release. “It’s very important to ensure that our interlayer manufacturer’s product is consistently of the highest quality so that the integrity of our architectural glass products is not compromised.”
