C.R. Laurence opens in Italy

C.R. LaurenceCo., Los Angeles, established its latest branch in Italy, to begin operation Oct. 1. Headed by Sales Manager Maurizio Dodi, C.R. Laurence of Europe s.r.l. is located in Cornaredo, northwest of Milan, and will serve the Italian market directly with a growing range of CRL’s 50,000-plus products, according to a Sept. 15 release.

“The establishment of our organization in Italy follows our stated strategy to bring the availability of our wide range of distributed and manufactured products closer across Europe, and represents another significant step in this development,” said Lloyd Talbert, president, CRL, in the release.

The Italian company becomes CRL'sthirtieth location globally, and is strategically placed to serve the industrial heartland of the glass industry in the region.

Simon Boocock, managing director, C.R. Laurence of Europe, added: “Our development continues to follow our three-point approach: acquisition of logistical infrastructure to develop regional presence; acquisition and development of manufacturing brands, products and capabilities; and green-field site establishments where applicable – all focused to bringing greater availability and choice to our customers throughout Europe,” according to the release.

CRLrecently opened its 75,000-square-foot European headquarters near Manchester, England, and already serves the glazing, architectural, construction, and automotive industries across three continents.
