Tracy Rogers, technical director, Edgetech I.G., Cambridge, Ohio, will co-present as part of the IGMA Training Day sponsored by the Australian Glass and Glazing Association’s Insulating Glass Manufacturers Affiliation Sub-Committee, according to an Aug. 19 release. The Aug. 25 program will take place in conjunction with the AusGlass National Conference in Sydney, Aug. 26-28. Rogers chairs IGMA’s North American Certification and Education committee, and much of the training program was developed by IGMA-NA.
“The presentation will focus on best practices for IG manufacturing, quality and design,” Rogers said in the release. “Both sales and manufacturing personnel will benefit from the day-long programming.”
The IGMA Training Day will be held on Aug.25 in North Ryde, NSW, Australia, with transportation included in the program fees. Specific topics to be covered include proper glass handling, cutting and washing, spacer systems, muntin and grid assembly, desiccants, gas filling and IG failure root cause identification.
