AMPM Glass employee dies after lightning strike

The Rockland man who was struck by lightning while walking in South Boston last week has died, according to the Boston Medical Center.

Stephen O’Brien, 50, was struck August 5 when a storm swept over the area between Pleasure Bay and Dorchester Bay. O'Brien, a father of three, collapsed near the gazebo near Castle Island.
