The first thing that strikes you about Joel Berman's studio on Granville Island on a scorching July day is the incongruous pair of 16-foot-high glass skis -a well-documented commission for K2 during our Olympics.
It was Joel Berman Glass Studios' way of bringing sport to the area, and if you haven't caught them yet, you'll need to act fast: they're about to carve their way south to the ski firm's Seattle base at the end of the month, according to a July 16 report in The VancouverSun.
